Bite my hegemony
I took a look around the American political blogosphere today, and Brad DeLong has a reply to Dan Drezner’s post on an essay by John Gaddis on the unilateralism of George Bush’s foreign policy. Reading some of the comments, I see I’ve been out of touch with that section of the American commentariat that self-identifies as “conservative” lately. I haven’t bothered to read many “conservative” American blogs the last year or so, and their deafening clamour at the start of the Iraq war has been reduced to a defensive, dissatisfied sussurus.
